VISUAL INSPECTION
MULTIPLE CAMERAS INSPECT CAULK CONTAINER

This solution uses four IMPACT T20 smart cameras to inspect empty caulk containers. The IMPACT vision system is programmed to inspect the position of the nozzle, the shape of the tube's opening, and the seal between the cardboard and metal materials. The four cameras take seven images to complete a full inspection cycle for each container within 0.2 seconds.

PART PLACEMENT VERIFICATION
This solution uses an IMPACT smart camera system to verify the placement of pickle slices in glass jars. To meet the wash-down environment requirements, special NEMA 4X enclosures are used to house the cameras, lighting, optics, PC, and LCD display monitor.

CAN CONTENTS VERIFICATION
- Featured Tools: Circular Pattern Find, OCR tools
This application demo features a vision solution created to verify the contents of canned goods to ensure a successful label inspection process. Canned goods are typically stored in inventory without labels until they are ready to be shipped out. During the labeling process, high-speed labeling machines typically identify the can by the code printed on the bottom of the can. This application shows how a PPT VISION IMPACT smart camera locates and reads the printed code and compares it to the verification string setup by the operator.
